Job description:

Revolution Event Design & Production is a full-service event production company known for its amazing, creative designs. While based in Glen Burnie, our team of designers and technicians travel all over the country executing various types of events. We are seeking self-driven, hard-working, creative individuals for event installs. We operate within a safety-conscious, team atmosphere. Come be a part of the many festivals, weddings, mitzvahs, product launches, and other exciting events!

 

Basic Requirements ($18/hr):
  • Dependability! Consistently on time & ready to work
  • Follow instructions & respond to direction
  • Safely load & unload trucks
  • Solid work ethic
  • Safely lift & carry 50lbs
  • Personal reliable transportation to & from the event job sites (MD, DC, VA)
  • Personal tools
  • Dress in all black stagehand attire
  • Available to work nights & weekends as requested
  • Able to consistently prioritize to meet deadlines at time-sensitive installs
  • Attention to detail
  • Thrive in a team environment

 

Ideal Candidate will excel in the following areas:
  • Lighting & Audio experience
  • Carpentry experience
  • Rigging
  • Custom fabric treatments
  • Ability to drive Non-CDL box trucks
  • Ability to travel
  • Planning, organizing & time efficiency
  • Problem solving- identify & resolve problems in a timely manner; gather and skillfully analyze information
  • Quality control- monitor own work to ensure quality while applying feedback to improve performance
  • Adaptability- manage competing demands, deal with frequent changes, delays or unexpected situations

 

Responsibilities:
  • Interface with scheduling app to receive information about your scheduled shifts
  • Unloading and organizing décor, furniture & equipment on site
  • Working as part of a team to set up the event as it was designed
  • Work well with other team members. Crew members will show a degree of integrity and professionalism when working with team members and clients
  • Help ensure proper execution of the event
  • Able to properly take down and store all equipment safely

Opportunity:
Part-time flexible schedule, that could lead to Full-time with the right candidate.

Compensation:
$18.00 - $30.00 per hour, from inexperienced to advanced, skilled candidates.
